Lorimer Moseley AO

Lorimer is one of the most in-demand keynote speakers internationally in the field of pain science. His contributions to research, education, leadership and public engagement have been recognised through major honours, including the Bradley Distinguished Professor Award for pre-eminent academic staff and his appointment as an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to humanity in the fields of pain and its management, science communication, education and physiotherapy.

He is currently Professor of Clinical Neurosciences and Foundation Chair in Physiotherapy at Adelaide University. Lorimer is an Honoured Member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, an Honorary Fellow of the ANZCA Faculty of Pain Medicine and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences. He has authored hundreds of scientific articles, multiple books and book chapters, and his work is cited in clinical guidelines around the world.

With more than 30 years of clinical experience supporting people with persistent pain, Lorimer’s community outreach and whole-of-community education initiatives have become internationally recognised and highly influential.
