Mobilisation of the Neuroimmune System
Bournemouth, UK
with Tim Beames
Two Days: 6 & 7 December 2025

Course Description
NOI's classic course, completely updated and re-written 'from the basic science up'. Integrating the latest research on neurodynamics and neuroimmune science.
Based on the latest evidence, this comprehensive lecture and hands-on course has been completely updated. The research is compelling – the immune system via its interaction with the nervous system is a critical player in learning, memory, movement and sensitivity.
This new understanding integrates peripheral and central processes and targets therapy towards healthy neuroimmune balance. You'll develop a clinical reasoning framework to identify patients who will benefit from neuroimmune mobilisation.
The course updates and refines essential practical skills to examine and manage the physical health of the nervous system – skilled, safe and appropriately timed handling techniques are covered in detail during labs and practical sessions.
What Makes This Course Unique?
-
Evidence-Based Evolution: NOI's longest running course, completely reimagined based on cutting-edge neuroimmune science.
-
Hands-On Learning: Comprehensive practical sessions with skilled, safe handling techniques taught in detail.
-
Clinical Integration: Learn to identify which patients will benefit most from neuroimmune mobilisation approaches.
-
Modern Understanding: Move beyond traditional models to embrace the immune system's critical role in pain and movement.
Why Choose MONIS?
- Revolutionary Understanding: Integrate immune system science with nervous system function for breakthrough clinical insights.
- Practical Excellence: Master refined examination and treatment techniques backed by the latest research.
- Clinical Confidence: Develop skills to tackle complex presentations that have traditionally been challenging to treat.
- NOI Quality: From the team that brought you Explain Pain and GMI – evidence-based education you can trust.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Apply basic knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurodynamics, neuroimmunology and neuropathobiology to manual examination of the nervous system
- Demonstrate safe and effective diagnostic skills in examining and interpreting physical dysfunction of the nervous system
- Understand and present neurodynamic movements and techniques as antigenic
- Develop new therapeutic narratives for explaining symptoms in conditions with altered neurodynamics
- Confidently manage known 'tough' clinical presentations such as chronic nerve root problems and persistent entrapment pathologies
Who should attend?
This course is designed for experienced clinicians who want to deepen their understanding of the nervous system and develop advanced manual therapy skills.
Perfect for:
- Physiotherapists seeking advanced neurodynamic skills
- Manual therapists working with complex pain states
- Clinicians treating persistent nerve-related conditions
- Healthcare professionals interested in neuroimmune science
